The masseria belonging to the aristocratic de luce family in 1500 is now a fascinating building made up of a central structure, that is, the masseria and of tall fortification walls surrounding it. The main entrance is characterized by a round arch which gives into the courtyard where you will find other structures like the ancient stables, the farmers' house, the ancient hypogeum then oil mill used to crush olives to produce olive oil and the little private chapel devoted to saint lucy and saint vito. The spanish stairway is amazing with its scallop borders and leads to the upstairs noble apartment (140 mq) which has barrel vaults 6 metres high. The ground floor contains unfinished apartments and a lovely apartment built in the hayloft. The location of the masseria is also strategical since it is in the country but near the beautiful beaches on the south adriatic sea and near the most famous tourist sites of puglia like alberobello, ostuni, grotte di castellana.
